PHOTOS: Delta “Corps Members” sensitizes students on dangers of early sex.

Members of Editorial and Publicity Community service development group of National Youth Service Corps, Warri South Local Government on Wednesday sensitized the students of Demonstration secondary school, Edjeba, on the needs to avoid early sex and focus on their personal development.
The students were advised to avoid any immoral acts that could jeopardise their discipline and doctrine of spirituality. 
Speaking at the event, Corper Damola Akanbi-omoiyaolobi, admonished the students to be wary of whom they are friends with and never allow social/peer pressure to coerce them to sin against their Lord that abstinence is the best prevention and God rewards those who obey his command. 
Akanbi further encouraged the students to be creative and innovative with their studies rather than engaging in improper social delinquencies that are not acceptable to the African society.
The second speaker, Corper Deborah based her advice on scriptural reference that early sex is sin and a crime to humanity which effects include early Parenthood, pregnancy and abortion. 

  Meanwhile, Cynthia Ibeh identified different health and mental effects of early sex to the students which include Sexually transmitted infection, cervical cancer, brain tumor, mental disorder and emotional fatigued, neglect by family and single parenting which is now a common phenomenal among young ladies.
In her remarks, the group vice president, Anthonia Odion appealed to the students to be of good character and never allow their environment to impede their future aspiration.

The principal thanked the corps members for finding it worthy to educate the young ones on the effect of early sex in our society and noted that with regular sensitization the society will change for good.
