2027: Makinde Appoints Amos Dunia as Special Adviser, Public Affairs

Oyo State Governor and Presidential Candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), Engr. Seyi Makinde, has appointed ace journalist and publisher, Mr. Amos Dunia, as his Special Adviser on Public Affairs.

The appointment takes immediate effect.

Mr. Dunia has a combined background in broadcast and print journalism, having worked with the Nigerian Television Authority, New Nigerian Newspapers, The Sun Newspapers, Blueprint Newspapers and as co-founder of Forefront Magazine and its online portal.

He was a former Chairman of the NUJ FCT Council and later served as National Consultant to the NUJ on Politics and Union Matters.

He brings to the Makinde/Daura Presidential Campaign Organization (MDPCO) his experience and capacity as a seasoned journalist, public commentator, communication expert and publisher.

As spokesperson, Mr. Dunia joins other professionals in the campaign to drive the Makinde/Daura ‘Reset Nigeria’ message ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

The presidential candidate charged members of the campaign organization, leaders and supporters of the APM, and Nigerians at large to remain steadfast in the collective quest to use the 2027 presidential election to reset and return the nation to the path of stability, national cohesion and economic prosperity.

MOUTHPIECE NGR reports that the appointment is the second of its kind in Oyo State into a Public Affairs role, after Oyedeji Ahmed was appointed to a similar position under the Office of the Deputy Governor, Barr. Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal.
