Ona-Ara LG Boss Felicitates Muslims On Mawlid Nabiyy, Commends Gov. Makinde

*The Executive Chairman of Ona-Ara Local Government, Dr. Temitope Kolapo Glorious*, has felicitated Muslim faithful in *Ona-Ara, Oyo State and beyond* on the occasion of *Mawlid Nabiyy*, the celebration of the birth of the *Noble Prophet Muhammad (SAW)*.

In a statement issued on Monday, Dr. Kolapo described the occasion as a period of *spiritual reflection* and an opportunity for Muslims to renew their commitment to the Prophet’s virtues of *love, compassion, justice, patience, honesty, humility, and peaceful coexistence*.

The Council Boss also commended *Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde*, for his commitment to the *development, peace, security and welfare* of residents.

He lauded the governor’s *people-oriented policies, inclusive leadership and efforts* to create an enabling environment for citizens to thrive.

_“The peaceful atmosphere enjoyed across the state remains a significant foundation for meaningful development. We commend His Excellency for his sustained efforts in maintaining peace and security in Oyo State,”_ he said.

Dr. Kolapo prayed that *Almighty Allah* would continue to strengthen, guide and protect the governor, and grant him wisdom, good health and renewed strength to serve the people.

_“May Allah reward his efforts, grant him success in all his endeavours and continue to make his leadership a source of progress and prosperity for the people of Oyo State,”_ he added.

The Chairman urged Muslims to use the Mawlid celebration to *pray for peace, unity, stability and prosperity* in Oyo State and Nigeria, while emulating the Prophet’s virtues in their daily dealings.

He also called on residents of Ona-Ara to *support government initiatives, remain peaceful and law-abiding*, and contribute positively to community development.

_“As we celebrate the birth of the Noble Prophet Muhammad (SAW), may his exemplary life continue to inspire us to promote love, peace, justice, compassion and unity,”_ Dr. Kolapo said.

He wished the entire *Muslim Ummah* a blessed, peaceful and spiritually rewarding Mawlid celebration.
