Ogbomoso North LG Chairman, Ogunlade Hails Soun of Ogbomoso on His Birthday, Prays for Long Life

The Executive Chairman of Ogbomoso North Local Government, Hon. George Gbadegesin Ogunlade, has extended warm birthday greetings to His Imperial Majesty, Oba Laoye Afolabi Orumogege III, the Soun of Ogbomoso Land, as the monarch marks another year.

In a statement released by his Media Aide, Comr. Alade Toheeb, Chairman described the Soun as a symbol of wisdom, unity, peace and progress whose leadership continues to contribute to the growth and development of Ogbomoso.

The Chairman congratulated the revered monarch on his new age, noting that his reign has continued to strengthen the unity and cultural heritage of the people of Ogbomoso.

According to him, the occasion provides another opportunity to appreciate the Soun for his fatherly leadership, wisdom and commitment to the peace and prosperity of the ancient city.

Hon. George Ogunlade prayed that Almighty God would continue to grant His Imperial Majesty long life, sound health, abundant wisdom and many more years of impactful reign.

He further wished the monarch a joyous birthday celebration and reaffirmed his respect and loyalty to the throne.

“Congratulations on your new age, Kabiyesi. Igba Odun, Odun Kan Ni. Long live His Imperial Majesty; long live Ogbomoso Land,” the Chairman said.
