Okanlomo Oodua, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi Congratulates Aare Alawode on His Installation as Mogaji

The Okanlomo Oodua and Bada Olubadan of Ibadanland, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the President of the Yoruba Youth Council (YYC), Aare Alawode Rahmon Akintunde, on his successful installation as the Mogaji of Ifatayo-Alawode Compound, Ode-Aje, Ibadan.

Aare Alawode was officially installed by His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Senator) Dr. Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, during a ceremony held at the Olubadan Palace, Oke Aremo, Ibadan.

Chief Dotun Sanusi described the installation as a well-deserved honour and a testament to Aare Alawode’s dedication to community development, youth leadership, and the preservation of the rich cultural and traditional heritage of Ibadanland.

According to the foremost Ibadan chief, the emergence of Aare Alawode as Mogaji represents a significant step toward strengthening family unity, promoting traditional values, and advancing the growth and development of the Ifatayo-Alawode Compound.

Chief Sanusi expressed confidence in the capacity of the new Mogaji to provide purposeful leadership and uphold the noble traditions handed down by the forefathers of the family.

He urged Aare Alawode to remain committed to the service of his people, promote peace and harmony within the family, and continue to contribute meaningfully to the progress of Ibadanland and Yorubaland at large.

The Okanlomo Oodua prayed for divine wisdom, sound health, and a successful reign for the newly installed Mogaji as he assumes the responsibility of leading the affairs of the Ifatayo-Alawode Compound.
