My Decision On Russia Is Simple, I Don’t Want To Drive Moscow From Bargaining Table – Trump

US President Donald Trump has said his decision on Russia is aimed at keeping peace negotiations on track in the war between Russia and Ukraine.

Trump, in a statement, said he is in the process of negotiating peace and does not want to take any action that would drive Russia away from the bargaining table.

“My decision on Russia is a very simple one. I am in the process of negotiating Peace in the war between Russia and Ukraine, and don’t want to do anything that will drive, foolishly, Russia away from the bargaining table,” he said.

According to him, great progress is being made, including current hostage negotiations.

He added that signing a document at this time would undermine the process, noting that he can sign it later whenever he wants.

Trump also said Russia is doing very little to help Iran compared to what it could be doing, and he wants to keep it that way.

He further accused Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of targeting diesel refineries in Russia, saying the attacks are seriously hurting world diesel markets, including in the United States.

“Farmers, ranchers, and businesses of all kinds are suffering greatly from this, but Russia is, nevertheless, sending, at a low price, millions of barrels of diesel to the World,” Trump said.

The US President claimed Zelenskyy does not want to end the war, adding that with funding from Europe and the previous Biden administration, he could have secured a better deal two years ago.

“His country is in shambles, a large portion of his land is lost, his oceans and seas are gone, and his male population is low, wounded, and/or dead. I WANT THIS WAR END!” he added.
