Hon. John Adisa-Oke LEGACY, Ph.D, has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, and across the world on the commencement of the Islamic New Year, Hijrah 1448 AH.

In a statement made available to newsmen, Adisa-Oke described the Hijrah as a significant moment in the Islamic calendar that symbolizes faith, sacrifice, perseverance, and unwavering commitment to righteous living. He noted that the occasion offers an opportunity for spiritual reflection, renewed devotion to Allah, and recommitment to the values of peace, compassion, and service to humanity.

The House of Representatives candidate for Ogbomoso North, Ogbomoso South, and Oriire Federal Constituency urged Muslims to draw inspiration from the lessons of the historic migration of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), emphasizing the importance of patience, unity, tolerance, and steadfastness in overcoming challenges and building stronger communities.

He further prayed that the new Islamic year would usher in peace, prosperity, good health, and abundant blessings for all Muslim faithful and the nation at large. He also called for continued prayers for the progress of Ogbomoso, Oyo State, and Nigeria.

“As we begin Hijrah 1448, may Almighty Allah accept our acts of worship, guide our paths, and grant us the wisdom and strength to contribute positively to our communities and society. Happy New Year to all our Muslim brothers and sisters,” he stated.
