Wife of Oyo Deputy Gov felicitates First Lady, describes her as amazon, humanitarian

Wife of Oyo Deputy Governor, Chief (Mrs) Ajibola Lawal has extended felicitations to the First Lady of Oyo state, Mrs Tamunominini Makinde, on the occasion of her birthday anniversary.

Mrs Ajibola, in a statement on Sunday, described the First Lady as an amazon, modest, caring and trustworthy mother who has remained a pillar of strength to her husband.

She equally commended Mrs. Makinde for her commitment to humanity and her essential role in the growth and development of Oyo state, reflecting on the First Lady’s commitment to youth and women’s empowerment through her laudable initiatives.

While extolling Mrs Makinde’s virtue, especially for being a strong pillar of support to her husband, the Deputy Governor’s wife also noted that her display of loyalty is worthy of emulation.

She averred that as a compassionate mother who combines decency and commitment to excellence, she has been able to worm her way into the hearts of the people through her charitable gestures.

“You remain the driving force behind the strings of spectacular accomplishments of your husband in all facets of endeavours, ranging from the corporate arena to the turbulent and exacting world of politics.

“Your love for the downtrodden, the deprived across the state is widely acknowledged. Your unwavering support for Governor Makinde has assured many that with you as First Lady, the Governor’s efforts will be well complemented”.

“May God Almighty continue to grant you sound health, wisdom and strength to continue to provide mentoring for the betterment of Oyo State”, she said.
