BREAKING: Ogbomoso North LG Chairman, Ogunlade reinstates 38 ad-hoc staff 

MOUTHPIECE NGR reports that Executive Chairman of Ogbomoso North Local Government, Hon. George Ogunlade, has reinstated 38 ad-hoc staff sacked two months ago. 

They were reinstated during a meeting with the Chairman on Monday at the local government secretariat.

The meeting had in attendance Head of Local Government Administration (HLGA), Mr. Oguntola Thomas Oladele, Directors of Local Government, Majority Leader, Hon. Popoola Olakunle, and other councilors.

Ogunalde had invited all the council 253 Ad-hoc staff to participate in a screening process aimed at identifying ghost workers and ensuring appropriate documentation.

According to a statement obtained by our correspondent, Ogunlade’s decision to reinstate the ad-hoc staff demonstrates his commitment to the progress and development of Ogbomoso North. 

The chairman’s leadership and vision for the local government were evident in his address as he urged the staff to commit themselves to their assigned tasks and responsibilities. 

Ogunlade, who emphasized the importance of punctuality and dedication, added that the progress of Ogbomoso North is contingent upon the collective efforts of all staff members.

The statement added: “Today’s meeting is a testament to our dedication to the welfare of the staff and the people of Ogbomoso North. By reinstating the ad-hoc staff, we have demonstrated our willingness to listen and respond to the needs of the community.”

MOUTHPIECE NGR gathered that the 38 staff were overjoyed by the chairman’s decision, and pledged to work tirelessly to justify the trust placed in them.

The meeting is said to serve as a reminder of the importance of teamwork and collaboration in achieving the goals of the local government.m as well as propel the council towards greater heights.
