Birthday: Oyo Deputy Governor Celebrate First Lady Describes Her As A Strong Pillar Of Support

Oyo State Deputy Governor Barrister Abdulraheem Adebayo Lawal, has described the First Lady, Engr. Tamunomini Olufunke Makinde, as God’s special and wonderful gift to mankind and a strong pillar of support.

Barrister Lawal in a statement congratulating the wife of the Governor on her 52nd birthday also described the celebrant as a wonderful, kind, compassionate, and special woman of substance who has positively touched lives within and outside Oyo State.

Barrister Lawal described the First Lady as a “Great woman of conviction and strong pillar of support” for Governor Seyi Makinde.

He praised her for being “an intelligent and virtuous woman who keeps the home front comfortable for our governor to govern with integrity and without distractions”.

Barrister Lawal also commended the first lady for her unwavering support of the governor, which he noted is a testament to the political successes and developmental strides Governor Seyi Makinde has continued to achieve. “Without a doubt her Excellency Engr. Tamunomini Olufunke Makinde is the supportive and reliable pillar of strength behind our leader Governor Seyi Makinde and the entire family.” He added.

The Deputy Governor said that Engr. Olufunke Tamounmini has made a great difference in the lives of children, women, the vulnerable people, the physically challenged, and the less privileged.

He noted that her advocacy in Oyo State, Nigeria, and other parts of the world has drawn attention to the plight of the girl child, women, and the aged and what should be done to give them succour.

The Deputy Governor said it was no surprise that she receives commendation and accolades for her strides in seeking development for women, children and the less privilege in our society.

Barrister Lawal noted further that the Governor’s wife was instrumental in having more women in political offices, which he described as unprecedented in the political history of the state.

“We thank God for the blessings of these past years and pray that he continues to bless you with good health and strength to impact more lives.”, the Deputy Governor said, as he wished her a happy birthday and many happy returns.

Barrister Lawal prayed Almighty God to keep the mother of our dear State in good health to continue the good work she is doing as pillar of the First Family and in the State.
