PHOTOS: Oyo Deputy Gov’s aides, SA Islamic, others attend burial of Grand Chief Imam Tede 

About four Special Assistants to the Deputy Governor of Oyo state, Barrister Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal, including the Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Islamic Affairs, Alhaji Abdul-Rasheed Abdul-Azeez stormed the ancient city of Tede for the burial ceremony of late Sheik Imaam, Alhaji Ahmad Tijani Adedigba, the Grand Imaam of Tedeland.

Adedigba, who died at the early hour of Saturday, was the Chaiman, League of Imaams and Alfas, Oke Ogun. 

He was buried on Sunday according to the Islamic rites, and the following week’s Sunday was fixed for his eighth-day fidau prayers. 

Barrister Hassan Ajibade, Special Assistant to the Deputy Governor of Oyo on Legal Matters; Hon. Yusuf Ajagbe, Special Assistant on Political Matters; Alhaji Ayinde Ogede, Special Assistant on Projects; and Hon. Badmos Adesola Special Assistant on Domestic as well Hon. Muyideen Ogundayo were among those who attended the funeral.

Others were Chief Imaams from Oke Ogun zone, Oyo Government officials, CAN, notable indigenes of Tede, friends and family who bid him a farewell and offered prayers that Allah grant him Al-Janat firdaos.
