Kogi: “Produce youngest governor in the history of Nigeria as successor”, youths tell Yahaya Bello

The teeming youths in Kogi State has called on the Governor of the state, Yahaya Adoza Bello to consider putting forward a youthful governor in Nigerian history as his successor come 2024 gubernatorial election.

In a statement released by the Covener of Dr. Sanusi Ohiare Volunteers Support Group, Comr. Ibrahim Abdulrazak, he described the candidacy of Ohiare as a youthful and the best alternative for onward Kogi State.

He made the call earlier today during a programme tagged Kogi State Youth Dialogue which witnessed vast majority of youths across the board who keen into the visions of Dr. Ohiare’s quest to transform the state.

He said: “The future of our state resides solely on the strength of the youths and it’s imperative to chart the course for a youthful, visionary, intellectually-inclined candidate with clarity of purpose such as Dr. Sanusi Ohiare. DSO has great penchant for recognizing the potentials of the youths as collaborators in the development process.”

He further appealed to the leadership of the APC, under Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello to consider the interest of a youthful governor like him or even younger such as Dr. Sanusi Ohiare to succeed him.

“It’s on this note that I sent a special appeal on behalf of DSO Volunteers to all the stakeholders of the APC in Kogi State, the delegates and our ever dynamic leader, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello to consider the interest of the youths and future of our dear state by electing Dr. Sanusi Ohiare DSO as the flag bearer of the APC in the forthcoming primary election in the state.

“Gov. Yahaya Bello has once mentioned the fact that he’s willing to produce youngest governor who will succeed him. We therefore implore our Governor to chart that course and follow his resolution.”- the statement read.
