Eid-el-Kabir: Oke LEGACY felicitates with Muslim faithful, urges for peaceful coexistence
The PDP chieftain and Member, Oyo Local Government Service Commission, Hon John Adisa Oke LEGACY has congratulated muslim brothers and sisters on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration, while calling on Muslim ummah to never let go of the reason for Eid celebration.
In a congratulatory message personally signed by him, he noted the gains of Eid as an exaltation by act of complete faith in Allah and His instructions unto mankind.
The statement reads: “On this occasion of Eid-el-Kabir, I extend warmest greetings and congratulations to our Muslim brothers and sisters in Oyo State, Nigeria and around the world. We give utmost gratitude to the Almighty for His magnificent blessings and abiding love for all mankind.
“As we celebrate let us never forget the reason for Eid-el–Kabir. Which is an abiding faith in Allah and His instructions unto us. Let us also not forget the poor and vulnerable among us by reaching out to give solace and succour to those unable to help themselves especially during this difficult times.
The challenges that we face as a nation call for sacrifices and adherence to Allah’s commands so that we may overcome these challenges and continue to build the just and prosperous society desired by all and destined for us”
Oke LEGACY prayed for Allah’s protection for residents and indigenes of Oyo State against the present security challenges in the country and equally prayed for Allah’s guidance for our leaders.
“May this Eid-el-Kabir bring more fulfilment, happiness and cheer into our lives and the nation in general”- He added.
