South- East NAPPS caps up State visit with Enugu and Abia

In her determination  to visit the five States of the zone and sensitize them on the need to embrace the programs and projects of the National President of the Association, the Zonal Leadership of NAPPS under the leadership of Mrs. Nonye Enemuo Esq, on Thursday, 8th April, visited Enugu State chapter of NAPPS, to bring home, the message of the National President, Chief Yomi Otubela, that it is time NAPPS is restructured for the benefit of its members Nationwide.

Declaring the event open, the National Vice President of NAPPS South-East, Barr. Nonye Enemuo unveiled the Programs of the National President to the members and urged them to see that Enugu NAPPS, which is her jurisdiction, comes first in every programs and initiatives of the National President.

The State Chairman of NAPPS Enugu State, Mr. Earnest Ike Ugwu, while speaking on behalf of the members of Enugu State chapter of NAPPS, assured the Zonal Leaders of NAPPS that Enugu NAPPS will not only key into the programs and initiatives of the National President, but ensure they come first in the Zonal level. His word: “We are glad to receive the Zonal Leaders of our Noble Association here today, and I want to assure you that we are already into the projects of our National President. If not for any other thing, we have our able National Vice President here, who is with us here in Enugu, and we can’t have the National Vice President and you expect us to be anything less than first in the zone”.

In the same vein, the South-East Zonal Leadership of NAPPS on Wednesday, 14th of April, took the visit to Aba, Abia State, thereby bringing the “State-to-State Visit” of the Zone to an end.

In his welcome address, the State Chairman of NAPPS Abia State, Pst. Joseph Okowu appreciated the Zonal Leaders for making time to visit Abia NAPPS again after the recently concluded Zonal Leadership Congress which was held in Umuahia, Abia State. He promised that as usual, members of Abia NAPPS will not be a clog in the wheel of progress on any programs and projects of NAPPS, whether at the Zonal or National level.

In her speech, Barr. Mrs Nonye Enemuo who led the Zonal Leaders of NAPPS to Abia, noted with appreciation, the massive turn up of Abia NAPPS members who came to welcome and listen to them.

The National Vice President, Barr. Mrs Nonye Enemuo enumerated the Programs and projects of the National President, ranging from the proposed National Secretariat, the NAPPS Microfinance Bank, the National Unified Exams, the NAPPS Scheme of Work, among other things. She enjoined members of Abia NAPPS to see that they make South-East NAPPS proud as they have always done, noting that it is only when they encourage each other in Abia NAPPS to key into these projects, that South-East will stand tall in the National level.

The NVP also encouraged members who are lookwarm and indulge in destructive criticisms  to get involved in the reposition of NAPPS for good.

In his speech, the immediate past National Secretary of NAPPS, Mazi Enyi Harbor, encouraged members of Abia NAPPS to key into these projects of the National President, saying that there is nothing a leader enjoys and appreciate than seeing that his subjects always supports his Programs and projects. Mazi Enyi Harbor further encouraged and charge them to always love each other, it’s only when love rules among them that they can achieve success as an Association.

In his remarks, the National Assistant Financial Secretary, Comr. Blessed Ogbuehi reminded members of Abia NAPPS that there is need for all hands to be on deck in ensuring that the National President achieves his vision for the Association, because the success of his administration will ultimately translate to the success of every member of NAPPS Nationwide.
