South- East NAPPS takes zonal visit to Imo

In continuation of the State-to-State visit of Zonal chapter of NAPPS South-East, the National Vice President of NAPPS South-East, Barr. Mrs. Nonye Enemuo, on Tuesday, 23rd March 2021, led a delegation, comprising of the Leaders of NAPPS South-East, to Owerri, Imo State, to sensitize members of Imo NAPPS, of the National Projects initiated by the National President, Chief Yomi Otubela.

The National Vice President of NAPPS South-East, Barr. Mrs. Nonye Enemuo in her opening speech, said that the coming of the leaders of South-East NAPPS to Imo State, is like the coming of John the Baptist, who as a forerunner of Jesus Christ, preached about the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ to the people and urged them to anticipate His coming, in the same vein, the South-East leaders of NAPPS are touring the States in the Eastern part of the country, telling members of the good works of the National President, and sensitizing them to key into his Projects, even as they anticipate his coming to visit South-East on a two-day working visit.

Unveiling the the Programs and Projects of the National President, Chief Yomi Otubela, the National Vice President, Barr. Mrs Nonye Enemuo presented to Imo NAPPS, myriads of the Projects that the National President, Chief Yomi Otubela is coming up with in his administration, which includes but not limited to: Unified NAPPS Exams, Unified NAPPS Scheme of Work; proposed NAPPS National Secretariat project, among others.

Reacting to that, the State Chairman of NAPPS Imo State, Chief Theophilus Mbakwe in his speech, maintained that Imo NAPPS under his watch, will continue to give unflinching support to the administration and projects of the National President, Chief Yomi Otubela.

The immediate past National Vice President of NAPPS South-East, who is also a Stakeholder of the Association from Imo State, Engr. JEN Udechukwu appreciated the delegation for coming to visit Imo NAPPS, saying that Imo NAPPS will continue to forge ahead as one family, and will continue to support the programs and projects of the National President, and that of the Zone. In his words, Engr. Udechukwu said: “we are happy to see that this high-powered delegation came because Imo NAPPS is important to both the Zonal and the National arms respectively. And I want to assure you that we will continue to forge ahead as one family. You can attest to the fact that Imo NAPPS has always been at the forefront of every programs and projects of the National body from time immemorial, and we cannot afford to lose that position and prestige now. Now that we have been properly educated on the project of the National President, I want to assure you that come next term, Imo NAPPS will record the highest number of people that will register for the Unified Exams in the whole of the country. We are going to help mobilize our people from the grassroots, to ensure that we maintain our pride of place in the National bearing”.

The National Assistant Financial Secretary, Comr. Blessed Ogbuehi in his speech, sued for peace and enjoined members of Imo NAPPS to show professionalism by shunning division and bickering, and respect each other’s persons and positions, as that is the only way to be united as one family. He encouraged them to show commitment by supporting the National President’s projects.

Highpoint of the event was the presentation of Nneoma Dr. Mrs Dora Amako by Imo NAPPS, to the Zonal Leaders for her outstanding contribution to the growth and progress of NAPPS in Imo State. Presenting Dr. Mrs Dora Amako to the Zonal Leaders of NAPPS South-East, Chief Theo Mbakwe noted with appreciation, that it was Nneoma Dr Mrs. Dora Amako who single handedly championed the approval of “NAPPS AVENUE”, a Street in Oweeri that was named after NAPPS, because the State Secretariat of NAPPS is sited along the Street. Chief Mbakwe recalled that Dr. Mrs Amako didn’t stop at that, as she equally constructed an Ultramodern Iron Gate at the cost of N250,000 and donated to the Association last week. By this uncommon gesture, Dr. Mrs Amako has proven that she is indeed a mother who has the growth and progress of NAPPS at heart.
