Ogbomoso CAN award Ogunwuyi, Wumi Oladeji, others
The Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Ogbomoso North on Saturday presented award of Excellence to some invited guests during the Fund Raising for Evangelism Equipments at the Church Secretariat building behind All Souls Anglican Church, Isale General, Ogbomoso.
The epoch- making event comprises of churches from the five blocs in Christian Association of Nigeria in the local governments.
Director General OYSIPA, Hon. Segun Ebenezer Ogunwuyi and the Oyo State Lawmaker representing Ogbomoso North, Hon. Wumi Oladeji who are both the Chairman and Chairperson of the Occasion were among the awardees.
Others include Oba Alhaji Dr Jimoh Oladunni Ajagungbade, Olori Esther Subuola Oyediran
Oba Professor John Akinola Akintola, Minister Sunday Dare, Hon. Captain Jacob, Dr T.B Olayinka, DNS RO Magbagbeola.
While speaking, Hon. Wumi Oladeji handed a cheque of 200,000 on behalf of Otunba Adebayo Alao Akala and herself.
Oladeji commended Governor Seyi Makinde’s sterling leadership and for having a listening ears to whatever advice she gives at the state House of Assembly.
In his words, the OYSIPA boss, Hon. Segun Ogunwuyi, ably represented by the Caretaker Chairman of Ogbomoso Central, Hon. Remi Oluwaseun charged the Association to maintain oneness for the progress of the association.
Ogunwuyi pledged a donation of 250,000 for the fund raising while N50, 000 was penned to Hon. Remi Oluwaseun’s name.
The Chief launcher of the occasion, Hon. Captain Jacob donated a sum of N100,000 and was presented by his representative, Hon. Waheed.
