Ireti Kingibe, senator representing the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has warned that Nigerians will pay taxes beyond their capacity in 2027.

The senator said companies are going to transfer the burden of 25% tax to consumers.

“YOU WILL PAY TAXES BEYOND YOUR CAPACITY IN 2027, BETTER BE READY! Companies are going to transfer the burden of 25% tax to you. BE READY!” she said.

She added that the result of the 2027 election will decide the fate of Nigerians.
