Ona Ara LG Chairman Receives Former YPP Guber Candidate, Euba, Supporters into APM

Ona Ara Local Government witnessed a major political gathering on Tuesday as former YPP governorship candidate in Oyo State, Mrs. Aduragbemi Animasaun Euba, formally joined the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) alongside her teeming supporters.

Mrs. Euba and her supporters were received by the Executive Chairman of Ona Ara Local Government, Dr. Temitope Kolapo Glorious.

The defection ceremony had in attendance prominent political stakeholders and party leaders, including Hon. Mufutau Ogunremi, SSA to the Governor on SDGs; Hon. Michael Ogunsina, State PRO; Hon. Kazeem Bolarinwa, DG, Youth Mobilisers for the APM Governorship Candidate; Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi; Alfa Kehinde Adeyemo, APM Chairman, Ona Ara; Hon. Dauda Taiwo, Ward 3 Councillor, as well as Supervisors, Special Advisers to the Chairman and other party leaders across the council.

Members of the APM in Ward 3 were also present in solidarity to welcome the new entrants.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Glorious acknowledged the leadership and political direction of His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, while emphasizing the need for unity, cooperation and collective participation among members and stakeholders.

He described Mrs. Euba’s decision to join the APM as a welcome development that will further strengthen the party at the grassroots.

The gathering provided an opportunity for party leaders and stakeholders to interact and reinforce the party’s commitment to inclusive politics and grassroots mobilization in Ona Ara Local Government.
