Oshiomhole: Uzodimma Not Sole Person To Market Tinubu In South-East

*Former Edo Governor and Senator Adams Oshiomhole* says *Imo Governor Hope Uzodimma* should not be seen as the only person responsible for promoting *President Bola Tinubu* and his administration in the *South-East*.

Oshiomhole stated this during an interview on *TVC on Sunday, August 23, 2026*, while discussing efforts to improve relations between the Federal Government and the region.

The senator noted that Uzodimma’s appointment as *Secretary of Tinubu’s 2027 Campaign Council* does not mean he has been given the sole duty of explaining the President’s policies and achievements to the Igbo.

_“Please note, the fact that Hope Uzodimma is the secretary doesn’t mean he will be the one marketing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the Igbo nation. I believe that every other governor in the South-East”_ also has a role to play, he said.

According to Oshiomhole, the responsibility of communicating government policies should be shared by governors and other political leaders in the region, and not left to Uzodimma alone because of his position in the campaign structure.
