Agboworin Congratulates New APM Candidates In Ibadan South-East, Hails Makinde’s Leadership

The member representing Ibadan North-East/Ibadan South-East Federal Constituency, Rep. Abass Adigun Agboworin, has congratulated the newly emerged Allied Peoples Movement, APM, chairmanship, vice chairmanship and councillorship candidates for Ibadan South-East Local Government Area.

In a statement issued by his Media Group in Ibadan on Monday, Agboworin described their emergence as a testament to the confidence reposed in them by the party leadership and members.

The lawmaker urged the candidates to justify the trust by remaining committed to service, unity and grassroots development.

He also appealed to other aspirants who were not successful in the party’s selection process to accept the outcome in good faith and remain committed to the progress of APM.

Agboworin stressed that every party member has a critical role to play in ensuring the party’s success in the forthcoming local government elections and beyond.

The federal lawmaker commended the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for his exemplary leadership, political maturity and commitment to unity within the party.

He assured the party’s candidates of his full support throughout the electioneering process, expressing confidence that they would work to earn the trust of the electorate and deliver purposeful, people-oriented leadership if elected.
