Oyo Deputy Gov Hails Agboworin as ‘Outstanding Legislator’ on Birthday

Oyo State Deputy Governor, Barr. Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal, has described Rep. Abbas Adigun Agboworin as an outstanding legislator whose commitment to people-oriented representation inspires confidence in Nigeria’s democracy.

The Deputy Governor, in a congratulatory message on Monday, equally described the Ibadan North-East/Ibadan South-East lawmaker as a distinguished and compassionate public servant who has championed the interests of ordinary Nigerians.

He noted that Agboworin remains a dedicated public servant whose passion for the welfare of the people has continued to distinguish him as one of Oyo State’s most impactful lawmakers.

Stressing that the lawmaker’s constituency projects, empowerment programmes, educational interventions and legislative work have transformed lives, the Deputy Governor also cited Agboworin’s accessibility, humility and focus on delivering the dividends of democracy.

He, however, commended his dedication to youth development, human capital advancement and community progress, saying his collaborative spirit and support for quality legislation strengthen democratic governance.

While wishing him many more years on earth, Barr. Lawal prayed for Agboworin’s continued protection, good health, wisdom and strength to keep serving his constituents and the nation.
