Hon. George Ogunlade Commissions Ajeogunbado/Oke Agbede Primary Health Centre

The Executive Chairman of Ogbomoso North Local Government, Hon. George Gbadegesin Ogunlade, has officially commissioned the newly constructed Ajeogunbado/Oke Agbede Primary Health Centre (PHC), a project executed by the Oyo State Hospital Management Board.

The commissioning ceremony drew notable dignitaries, including traditional and community leaders such as the High Chief of Ogbomoso land, Alhaji Gazal Yussuf (Abese of Ogbomoso land), and His Royal Majesty, Oba Reuben Adeshina Amao Osunbiyi I (Aajeologo). Both leaders commended the Oyo State Government for its commitment to strengthening healthcare delivery at the grassroots level.

In his address, Hon. George expressed profound appreciation to His Excellency, the Governor of Oyo State, for his visionary leadership and steadfast support for the health sector. He described the Governor as a listening and people-oriented leader whose policies continue to prioritize the welfare of citizens.

The Chairman also pledged that Ogbomoso North Local Government would sustain and expand ongoing developmental projects across communities, ensuring that dividends of democracy reach every resident.

Hon. George further extended his appreciation to the Chairman of the Oyo State Hospital Management Board, Hon. Akin Fagbemi, for his dedication to the provision of quality healthcare services across the state. He also commended Dr. Femi Oni, the Director of Primary Health, Ogbomoso North Local Government, for his active role and professional support towards the successful completion of the health facility.

He thanked the people of Ajeogunbado and Oke Agbede communities for their cooperation throughout the construction process, noting that the success of the project exemplifies effective partnership between government and the people.

In his goodwill message, Alhaji Gazal Yussuf, the Abese of Ogbomoso land, lauded the Governor and Hon. George for their dedication to community development and for being true friends of the people.
