Oke LEGACY Joins Adekanmbi, Other APM Candidates on Oriire Visit, Assures Rescue of Abducted Students, Staff
The Allied Peoples Movement, APM, consensus candidate for Ogbomoso North, South and Oriire Federal Constituency, Hon. John Adisa-Oke LEGACY, Ph.D, on Tuesday joined a party delegation on a condolence and solidarity visit to the community affected by the recent abduction in Oriire Local Government Area.
The delegation included APM governorship candidate in Oyo State, Bimbo Adekanmbi; Hon. Smarto; former House of Representatives member Hon. Shina Peller; and Odidi Omo.
Speaking with MOUTHPIECE NGR, Adisa-Oke said the visit was to sympathize with affected families and the entire community during “this painful moment” while conveying the concerns and assurances of the GSM family.
“We reassured them that every necessary effort is being intensified to ensure the safe rescue of the abducted students and staff, and that those responsible for this unfortunate act will be brought to justice,” Adisa-Oke said.
He noted that unity, compassion, and collective action remain critical at this time.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families, and the entire community as we continue to hope and work for a positive outcome,” he added.
Recall that the recent incident in Oriire LGA, which involved the abduction of students and staff, has drawn widespread condemnation and renewed calls for urgent security intervention across Oyo State.
