In a statement made available to, MOUTHPIECE NGR on Monday, Aworawo said the gesture was aimed at easing economic hardship during the festive period and replicating grassroots impact in line with Governor Seyi Makinde’s agenda.
“I have domesticated what is happening at the state level within my constituency by providing cash support to my people, no matter how small. This covers 17 executives per ward across 10 wards, and all local executives in Ogbomoso South,” he said.
He reiterated his commitment to improving constituents’ welfare and delivering more people-oriented projects, adding that the support was also meant to sustain party structures across the council.
“We understand that many of our constituents are going through difficult times, and this gift is a token of my support to help them celebrate with joy and peace,” Aworawo said.
He commended the Chief of Staff to the Oyo State Governor, Hon. Segun Ogunwuyi, for his support over the years, noting that the gesture aligns with the Chief of Staff’s culture of showing love during festive periods.
Aworawo however urged beneficiaries to use the funds wisely. “I wish all my constituents a blessed and peaceful Eid-el-Kabir. May the spirit of the season unite us and bring us closer together,” he added.
