Lateef Ridwan Opeyemi Reaffirms Loyalty to Gov. Seyi Makinde, Sen. Monsura Sunmonu, distributes clothes to Celebrates Ileya with Supporters and Foundation Members

Hon. Lateef Ridwan Opeyemi, an aspirant for the Oyo State House of Assembly, Atiba State Constituency, and founder of the Lateef Ridwan Foundation, on Wednesday reaffirmed his total loyalty to Governor Seyi Makinde, Alhaja Monsurah Sunmonu, and the members of Allied Peoples Movement (APM)  during a meeting with his team.

As part of Ileya celebrations, Opeyemi distributed food items and clothing to team members and residents. 

The group also agreed to hold a joint celebration on Friday, the third day of Ileya, at his residence.

However, in a statement made available to newsmen on Saturday, Opeyemi declared that he and his supporters would “wholeheartedly support Governor Seyi Makinde for President, Hon. Bimbo Adekanbi for Oyo State Governor, and Barr. Seun Asamu (TNA) for House of Representatives, Oyo Federal Constituency,” along with all APM candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.

He urged members and supporters to remain united and “stand firmly with the movement.”

Foundation Chairman, Hon. Ige Adebayo, speaking on behalf of the group, assured Opeyemi of their continued loyalty. “Wherever Ridwan goes, the members are fully ready to follow him,” Adebayo said.
