Oyo Deputy Gov Mourns Alhaja Shiyanbade, Condoles with Muslim Community Secretary General

Oyo State Deputy Governor, Barr. Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Alhaja Tawakalitu Shiyanbade, wife of Alh Murzik Shiyanbade, the Secretary General of the Muslim community in Oyo State. 

Alhaja Shiyanbade passed away this morning at the age of 66.

In a message of condolence issued on Thursday, the Deputy Governor, who sent a delegation to her funeral prayer (Janazah) at the Bodija Central Mosque in Ibadan, described her death as a profound shock. 

The Deputy Governor acknowledged that her demise is a significant loss, not only to her immediate family but also to the wider Muslim community. 

He prayed Allah to grant her Aljnat Firdaos and for strength to her family and husband to bear this irreplaceable loss.
