Another Minister Resigns From Tinubu’s Cabinet, When Will Adelabu ?

The Minister of State for Humanitarian Affairs, Dr. Yusuf Tanko Sununu has officially resigned from the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

MOUTHPIECE NGR understands that the Minister resigned on Monday to run for the Senate seat in Kebbi State.

Before his transition to the Federal Executive Council, Sununu represented the Yauri/Shanga/Ngaski Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.

Confirming his resignation, Sununu said he stepped down in line with the country’s rules for political office seekers.

When asked via text message whether he had resigned, Sununu replied in the affirmative.

Sununu previously served as Minister of State for Education before being redeployed to the Humanitarian Affairs Ministry. He is credited with impactful social projects in the state under both appointments, contributing positively to the lives of residents.

MOUTHPIECE NGR reports that tension is brewing in Oyo State’s All Progressives Congress (APC) over a leaked list of supposed “consensus” candidates.

Despite indications that President Bola Tinubu might be backing Bayo Adelabu, his ministerial position complicates things.

Meanwhile, Senator Sharafa Ali’s name is circulating as a potential consensus candidate, adding to the uncertainty.

When will Adelabu resign?
