Ogbomoso North Chairman Leads Monthly Prayer, Approves Council Renovations and Staff Bus
It was a morning of gratitude, unity, and renewed commitment as the Ogbomoso North Local Government held its monthly prayer session to mark the beginning of November.
The event, held at the council secretariat, brought together political functionaries, career officers, and staff members in an atmosphere filled with hope and spiritual reflection.
Leading the gathering was the Executive Chairman, Hon. George Gbadegesin Ogunlade, who was flanked alongside his appointees, the Head of Local Government Administration (HLGA), and all directors of departments.
In his address, Hon. George expressed deep appreciation to the council staff and management for their unwavering support since the inception of his administration. He commended their dedication to duty and encouraged them to maintain unity and hard work for the progress of the local government.
My office is always open to everyone,” the chairman said. “If there are areas we can improve on, please bring them forward. Together, we can build a more efficient and people-oriented council.”
Speaking further, the HLGA, Prince Paul Olawuyi, lauded the chairman for his humility, accessibility, and commitment to staff welfare. He announced with delight that Hon. Ogunlade had approved major renovation works within the council secretariat — including the repair of long-abandoned borehole to restore running water, renovation of offices, replacement of broken windows, and refurbishment of the council’s toilets.
In addition, the chairman has approved the renovation of the council’s staff bus, ensuring improved mobility and convenience for workers.
