Ogbomosho North First Lady Kicks Off campaign to End Women Violation

The first lady of Ogbomosho North Local Government, Mrs Grace Ogunlade has flagged-off campaign to put an hold on women violation in Ogbomosho and its environs.

She stated this on Friday while praising the wife of the executive governor of Oyo State Mrs Tamunomini Olufunke Makinde for her unalloyed support towards this epoch event.

Mrs. Ogunlade in her address, she said, women and girls violation has become a demonic plant that need to be uprooted from our society. 

She however emphasized that women has contributed immensely to the society staying that there is need for stakeholders to sensitize and enlighten people on the need to create gender equal opportunity in their respective places.

Mrs Ogunlade reaffirms the local government supports and commitment in bringing women and girls violation to an end in the society, 

She equally encouraged the neighborhood to take a que in fighting against this menace in their respective places.

Earlier in her remarks, the Director of Education and Social Services for Ogbomosho North Local Government Mrs Bello Oluwatoyin Bosede stressed that, women and girls violation has become a crime against humanity liable for imprisonment or fines in the court of law. 

She advised those involved in such act to desist from it so as not to see the wrath of the law.

Those present at the event is the wife of the Ogbomosho North Local Government Vice Chairman Mrs Temitope Taofeek, Deputy Leader of The House Ogbomosho North Local Government Hon. Fatai Samurai, The Chief of Staff, Ogbomosho North Local Government, Hon. Areo Grace, Super for Women Affairs Ogbomosho North Local, Hon.Areo Ajibola.

Others were Women leader for Ogbomoso North, all women leaders across the ten wards, all ten councilors wives and local government staffs.
