Oyo PTS to launch interstate services
The Pacesetter Transport Services has announced that the much anticipated interstate services of the company will kick off before the end of 2024.
This was disclosed by the Chairman and Sole Administrator of the Pacesetter Transport Services, Hon. Dr. Dikko Salami, on Friday.
According to him, the interstate service is due for launch and will see the light of the day in coming month(s).
He said: “This is set to complement the economic relieving OMITUNTUN BUSES while equally improving the economic activities of the State via improved transport network.
“This service is aimed at increasing and attracting a new demography of commuters who require the top-notch services of the company beyond Oyo State.
“Recall that the Omituntun buses have been sedulous in achieving the purpose of relief and solace for the Oyo State population particularly in this economic period in the country under the transportation wing of the SAfER initiative of Governor Seyi Makinde; the company and its operations have indelibly represented one of the rocky proactive and pacesetting measures of the Seyi Makinde led administration in providing subsidized cost of living for the masses in a “subsidy” economic era, spread across the geopolitical zones of the State – Ibadan, Saki, Iseyin, Ogbomoso, Oyo, Igbo-Ora, Ibarapa.
“The interstate services is an opportunity to connect commuters, businesses, and economic development between Oyo State and other States.
“The service offers an upgraded convenience as is the custom, an internet connected journey, personalized, yet communal elegance.”
