Man Takes Wrong Bus And Cries For 2 Hours After U.S. Visa Rejection
A Nigerian man recently shared on X (formerly Twitter) a tough memory from years ago when, after being denied a U.S. visa, he mistakenly boarded a bus to Ajah instead of Abule Egba. He had used all his business savings to apply for a student visa, making the rejection especially painful. Eyes Of Lagos reports,
Reflecting on the moment, he wrote, “I’ve been to the U.S. embassy before, but after they gave me the rejection letter, I didn’t even realize I got on a bus to Ajah instead of Abule Egba 😭😭😭. I spent two hours crying in my room after using all my business money to apply and pay school fees.”
His story resonated widely, with many people in the comments sharing similar experiences and offering support.
