Olorunsogo LG Chairman, Olayanju salutes Nigerians on 64th Independence Day
The Chairman of Olorunsogo LGA, Hon. Qozeem Olayanju Orelope has congratulated Nigerians, especially the people of Olorunsogo LGA, on the occasion of the Nation’s 64th Independence Anniversary.
The chairman, in a statement on Tuesday, described the occasion as one that remained significant because of the giant strides attained since Nigeria gained independence and became a sovereign nation.
He said: “Though the nation continues to face many challenges, we have to remain resolute and join hands to overcome these challenges as we build a virile nation and the community that we all desire.”
Olayanju, on behalf of other executives, however congratulated the Olorunsogo LGA community, assuring that they would continue to collaborate and work together in tackling the community’s developmental challenges.
The LG boss equally used the occasion to assure the people of Olorunsogo Local Government Area that his determination to build a local government area that would be prosperous, peaceful, and a haven for investment and business is still intact.
“In our tenure, we have come up with a development plan that we shall implement in line with our pillar policy thrust of Peace, Security and good governance, physical infrastructural development and sustainable economic rebirth because Olorunsogo LG is ours to build for the sake of generations to come”.
He urged Olorunsogo LG residents to maintain the peace while making sure they take advantage of government programs to create wealth and be productive.
