Community Leaders, Residents Rejoice As Bisi Oluranti Embarks On Massive Solar-Powered Streetlight Installation In Constituency

 As part of efforts to further enhance security of lives and property of her constituents, the lawmaker representing Ogbomoso North State Constituency, Hon. Bisi Oluranti Micheal, has embarked on massive solar-powered streetlight installation across all wards in her constituency.

The project, which will be carried out in stages, started in Abogunde ward 1. Erection is now ongoing in Warzo market, with plans to expand to additional wards of the Ogbomoso North local government area.

While this development is coming in a bid to fulfill her electoral promises, it is also motivated by her desire to provide much-needed basic facilities that will boost business activity in the communities, and markets within the constituency.

Without a doubt, the project would support the state government’s efforts to ensure that the constituency is adequately illuminated, under the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde.

Speaking to MOUTHPIECE NGR on Tuesday, Bisi Oluranti said the initiative would undoubtedly touch numerous communities in all the wards in Ogbomoso North Constituency. 

According to her, this is to enhance safety and security in public places and to equally promote social and economic activities in the communities.

She said: “The project is to support what the state governor, His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, is doing and to make sure that my constituency is not lagging behind in terms of infrastructural development. It is very important that dividends of democracy gets to our people.”

Meanwhile some excited community leaders have conveyed their sincere gratitude for receiving Hon. Bisi Oluranti’s kindness, pointing out that the solar street lights will significantly enhance the safety of their communities. 

They praised the Light-Up Project as evidence of the lawmaker’s unwavering commitment to transforming their neighbourhoods and her pragmatic approach to the welfare of the people.
