Barr. Onijo hosts Oyo Deputy Gov, Okere of Saki, Olowu of Kuta, Akinboro, Col. Adegbola, others at brother-inlaw’s wedding ceremony
The Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Barr Abdul Raheem Adebayo Lawal, honoured Barrister Lateef Sarafadeen Abiola, also known as Onijo, the chairman of the governing council of The Oke-Ogun Polytechnic Saki, also known as Chief Michael Koleoso Polytechnic, on Saturday by attending the wedding of his brother-in-law, Mosobalaje Qowiyu Alao, a prominent member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Saki West Local Government.
The event was also attended by the Wife of Oyo Deputy Governor, Chief (Mrs) Ajibola Lawal, the Okere of Saki, Hrm Oba Surv. (Dr) Khalid Olabisi, the Olowu of Kuta, Oba Hameed Adekunle Makama Oyelude Tegbosun III, Barr. Olumuyiwa Akinboro SAN, and Col. E.G Adegbola.
Also present were all local exco, elders, all councillors and the supervisory councillors of Saki West Local Government, and host of others.
The Deputy Governor congratulated the newlyweds and offered prayers to Almighty Allah for blessings on their marriage.
He emphasized the importance of putting Almighty Allah first in their lives, building their marriage on a foundation of trust, patience, and mutual respect, and maintaining a consistent practice of prayer.
The Deputy Gov equally advised them to build their life on fountain of love and fear of God.
Barr. Onijo, however appreciated the Deputy Governor and other Obas for grazing the occasion.
He wished the couple a happy married life.
