PHOTOS: FG  Dualisation Of 220km Keffi-Akwanga-Lafia-Makurdi Road

The China Harbour Engineering Company ( CHEC ) said it has Completed the 220KM Nasarawa – Benue Road Project. 

The Abuja, Keffi-Akwanga-Lafia-Makudi Expressway which started in April 2019 and was said to have had little delay due to Covid-19 is now completed.

The contractor CHEC said they’re happy to deliver the project and also state that it has moved to the face of concessionary face of maintenance for 25 years. 

The project is said to be $42,144 million and was co-funded by the Federal Government of Nigeria and the China Export and Import (EXIM) Bank Limited.

The project was divided into phases to eases implementation.

Phase I involved the dualisation of the Keffi-Akwanga-Lafia-Makurdi road.

With Phase II including the dualisation of the Makurdi-Otukpo-Obollo-Afor-Enugu road which the contractor has already started.
