Oriire LG: ‘Your victory reflects the will of the people’, Hon. Bankole congratulates Olateju, Bankole on election victory

Following the victory of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) at the just concluded Oyo State local government election which saw the emergence of Hon Olateju Michael and Hon Lydia Bankole as Oriire Local Government Chairman and Vice Chairman respectively, the PDP Chieftain, Hon. Adekunle Bankole, has felicated with the duo.

The election, which held on Saturday and was keenly contested, reflected the will of the good people of Oriire Local Government and their confidence in the leadership abilities of the two leaders.

In his congratulatory message, Hon. Adekunle Bankole commended Hon. Olateju Michael and Hon. Lydia Bankole for their dedication, resilience, and commitment to serving the people of Oriire Local Government.

He expressed confidence that the elected Chairman, Vice Chairman, and Councillors would actively support the Sustainable Development Agenda of Governor Seyi Makinde by fulfilling their roles with efficiency, credibility, and responsiveness.

Speaking further, Hon. Bankole urged the newly elected council bosses to prioritize the welfare of their constituents, implement people-centered policies, and work tirelessly towards improving the lives of residents in Oriire Local Government.

“I congratulate Hon. Olateju Michael and Hon. Lydia Bankole on their well-deserved victory. I urge you to see this mandate as a call to service and to work tirelessly towards the development and progress of our local government,” Hon. Bankole remarked.

He further reiterated his commitment to supporting the leadership of Hon. Olateju Michael and Hon. Lydia Bankole, pledging his continued advocacy for grassroots empowerment, good governance, and sustainable development in Oriire Local Government.
