In a jubilant gathering on December 10th, 2023, Oyo state witnessed the recognition of 30 exceptional youth leaders at the 30 Outstanding Youth Leaders Award ceremony organized by the Young African Initiatives Network (YALI) Oyo State Chapter. 

The distinguished event unfolded at the University of Ibadan’s Department of Peace, Security, and Humanitarian Studies.

The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Digital Inclusion and Accessibility Award to Aderibigbe Yisahu Ajibola, the visionary publisher behind The Populist News. This accolade celebrates his remarkable contributions to information dissemination and continuous updates that have digitally connected the people of Oyo state and Nigeria at large.
