Let’s continue to live with love— Makinde’s aide charges Muslims
Imam Abdulrasheed Abdul-Azeez, an aide to the Executive Governor of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde, has enjoined the Muslims in the state to embrace love not only within their own community but also across religious lines.
Abdul-azeez’s call for love and unity resonated at the Maolud Nabiyy event, which was expertly organized by Qhalifa Tijaniyah IBN Maolana Sheikh Alh. Abdulrazak Abdulawahab Elekuro on Saturday, October 14, 2023.
Speaking passionately about the significance of love, the Islamic scholar highlighted how the love of Prophet Muhammad had drawn people in large numbers to the Maolud Nabiyi celebration.
He also acknowledged the profound affection for the late Islamic scholar Sheikh Abdrazak Baba Lelekuro which had inspired countless attendees while also appreciating his principal, Seyi Makinde, for attending the program last year and also supported financially.
Imam Abdul-Rasheed Abdul-Azeez, S A on islamic Affairs to the Oyo state Governor, emphasized the importance of fostering love among Muslims and extending that love to people of all faiths.
He encouraged everyone to draw inspiration from the boundless love of Prophet Muhammad. Peace be unto Him.
Abdu-azeez, while assuring that Governor Seyi Makinde will continue blot be fair to all Muslims and treat them with love, he implored Islamic adherents to continue supporting his administration and remain hopeful for enhanced development during his tenure.
Similarly, a similar programme was organized on Sunday by Nurul Haq Islamic Organisation founded by Alhaja Misrafah Mahruf.
Imam Abdrasheed Abdazeez reinforced the message of love and the significance of prayer as encouraged by the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W).
The Maolud-Nabiyi celebrations have not only brought Muslims together in unity but have also served as a powerful reminder of the importance of love, tolerance, and mutual respect across religious boundaries.
