Emperor’s Foundation delivers back-to-school materials to 5,000 pupils across 5 LGs in Ogbomoso zone

…As 850 Teachers benefit from initiative

Tne Emperor’s Foundation has provided essential writing materials such as pens to over 5,000 pupils attending public basic schools in primary 3 to 6, spread across five local governments in Ogbomoso, Oyo State.

The brainchild behind this initiative, according to Mr. Idogbe Mathew, who is the Founder of the Foundation, said that what began as a noble endeavor to support 5,000 pupils grew beyond expectations, ultimately benefiting 6,500 pupils and 850 teachers.

He explained that the primary aim of this initiative is to motivate and empower students, reinforcing the government’s commendable efforts in delivering free and quality education in the state.

He said: “The provision of writing materials is a fundamental step in sparking students’ interest and engagement in their studies. It is worth noting that this program is self-financed, with Mr. Olaleye Timileyin offering crucial financial support to bring the project to fruition.

“Expressions of gratitude extend to various individuals and entities who played pivotal roles in making this initiative a reality.”

MOUTHPIECE NGR reports that the Emperor’s Foundation acknowledges the contributions of Almighty God, the Local Government Education Authority (LGEA) Secretaries from the five local governments, the dedicated headteachers, and the teachers who have all been instrumental in the benevolent effort.

The following individuals from each local government, Fagbemi Akinpelumi, Olurinde Olusola, and Areo Adewuni Esther in Ogbomoso North & South Local Governments, Engr. Abiodun Mayowa, Adeyemi Joseph, Oladeji Maven Ayo in Surulere Local Government, Adewuyi Julius Adesoji, Ogundeji Kayode Gabriel in Ogo-Oluwa Local Government, and Ajala Oluwaseun Babatunde, Ogunmola Aanuoluwa in Oriire Local Government, were also recognized for their contributions to the noble cause.

Idogbe hinted that their collective efforts have brought this heartwarming initiative to life, making a significant difference in the lives of thousands of young students as they return to school.

He added that the Emperor’s Foundation’s commitment to education and community support is a beacon of hope for the future.
