FOSSU presents award of Excellence to Oyo SA domestic, Badmos Adesola
The Special Assistant to the Oyo Deputy Governor on Domestic, Hon. Badmos Adesola, has received an award of excellence from the Bayero University Kano Chapter of the Federation of Oyo State Students’ Union in Kano State.
The student body honoured him when they paid a courtesy call on him at his residence in Kishi during their excursion tour of the places of interest in Oyo State, led by one of their leaders and stakeholders, Comr. Yusuf Saheed Ajedokun, an indigenous son of the soil of Kishiland.
Also present were their current President, Comr. Habeeb Mustapha Ayinde, and other executives.
The award, as announced by the association’s president, was given in appreciation for his unwavering support of student bodies from several axes of the state, including FOSSU.
They added that his fervent zeal for doing everything in his power to assure the students’ welfare, unity, and solidarity cannot be overemphasised and that they are rewarding him for his dedication to humanitarian services as well as for being supportive.
According to FOSSU, the recognition is not just a token of thanks but also a long overdue recognition of his good leadership qualities.
The awardee, Hon. Badmos Adesola, however, expressed his state of hilarity while receiving the award and pledged his total support to the every worthy course to develop the association.
He equally promised to build productive capacities among the students.
