Chief of Staff commiserates with Speaker over mother’s death

The Chief of Staff to Oyo State House of Assembly Speaker, Mr Olatundun Leke Gabriel (JP) has commiserated with Rt. Hon. Debo Ogundoyin over the death of his mother, Chief Mrs Justina Iyabo Ogundoyin.

Mrs Ogundoyin, who was the fourth wife of the late Eruwa born philanthropist and Business Mogul, Chief Adeseun Ogundoyin, died this afternoon after a brief illness at the age of 63.

In a condolence message made available to newsmen on Sunday in Ibadan, Mr Gabriel, also known as Angel, described the death of a mother as a painful experience.

He extolled the virtues of the deceased, praying God to grant her soul peaceful rest and comfort those she left behind.

“It is with sadness that I received the passing on to glory of Yeye Tina, Chief (Mrs) Justina Iyabo Ogundoyin at the age of 63. On behalf of myself, my family, and the Speaker’s aides, please accept our profound condolences and prayers as you go through the permanence of her absence.

“May God grant you and the rest of your family the courage and strength to handle her passing, and may her sweet spirit rest in complete peace with the Lord.”

Mr Gabriel also commiserated with Adesoji, Adetoye and Aderemi, as well as the entire Ogundoyin’s family and the Market Men and Women in Oyo State.

The deceased was until her death the Iyaloja General of Ibarapa land.
