AA guber candidate, others drop ambition for Makinde’s re-election bid 

AA Governorship Candidate in Oyo State, Mr.Olaniyi Ajekiigbe has dumped the party for the actualisation of Governor Seyi Makinde re-election for a second term.

In the same vein, all the candidates of the party in the just concluded National Assembly’s elections(Senate/Representatives) in the state has also declared their support for Governor Makinde’s re-election.

The Action Alliance governorship candidate said he perished his ambition to support governor Makinde’s continuity because of the good job he’s doing in the state.

He disclosed this after a meeting with leadership of the people’s Democratic Party in the state led by the deputy governor, Barr. Bayo Lawal.

Other AA members at the meeting include,Adewale Aderinto (Oyo south Sen.candidate), Pastor Emmanuel Olumide (state secretary),Bar Bolarinwa Lawal(Egbeda/Ona Ara fed rep),Olusegun Ibikunle (state organising secretary). 

The decampees used the opportunity to dispel the rumours that the party had formed an alliance with Labour Party in the state.
