Oyo DG’s ally, TPL Williams, SSA Public Affairs, Councilors, others lead House to House campaign for Gov. Makinde, other PDP candidates in Ogbomoso 

A close ally of Oyo State Deputy Governor Mr. Odetunde Williams Adesoji, Senior Special Assistant to Oyo State Deputy Governor on Public Affairs, Oyedeji Ahmed, Ward 8 Oke-Elerin Councilor, Hon. Olugbodi Gabriel Olutade, and other party members continued a House to House campaign on Thursday as part of efforts to ensure victory for Governor Seyi Makinde and other candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State ahead of the 2023 general election.

The SSA to Oyo Deputy Governor, Oyedeji, joined the PDP members in Oke-Elerin at precisely 4:02pm to canvass for all of the party’s candidates and to inform voters, especially the elderly, on how to cast their ballots without having an invalid vote, according to MOUTHPIECE NGR correspondent, Alade Toheeb.

He said the former ADP Oyo North Senatorial Chairman in Ward 8, Oke-elerin, Mr. Taiwo Alabi, and Adetutu Oladayo, Ward 8 Oke-Elerin from the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC), who ran for local government chairman alongside Alhaji Kabiru were also among those who joined the House to House campaign. 

While speaking, Williams, also known as Omo Baba Deputy in Ogbomoso, said that the goals of the House to House campaign are to assure victory for all of the party’s candidates and to educate the populace about the accomplishments of Governor Seyi Makinde.

However, the Deputy Governor’s aide, Oyedeji, in his own submission said that Governor Seyi Makinde deserves a second term for his outstanding achievements, particularly with the manner he has advanced the state in just three and half years in office. 

He urged voters to cast their votes for all PDP candidates in the upcoming election especially Hon. Akinwole Akinwale Wolekanle for the Oyo North Senatorial district, Hon. Olufemi Onireti for the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Bisi Oluranti for the Ogbomoso North House of Assembly, Hon. Sanjo Adedoyin for the Ogbomoso South House of Assembly, and Hon. Ogundele Oja for the Orire State Constituency in order to complement the efforts of Governor Seyi Makinde in Omituntun 2.0. 

Similarly, the SSA on Public Affairs also took part in both the Hon. Bisi Oluranti, Boom campaign tour, who is running for the PDP House of Assembly seat representing Ogbomoso North, and the campaign train of PDP members and volunteers along Oke-Elerin road for all PDP candidates.

Among areas the campaign train visited as stated by the Councillor include Areago; Ile Otukoko; ile Jakilegbo; Ile Oba mo; Ile Olugbon; Ile Alapo; Ile Alawusa; Ile Alakeji; Ile Alawo; Ile Adunbu; Ile Agelu; Ile Ipako; Ile Jagun Olugbon.

Others were Ile Agudu Oganla; Ile Onimolu; Ile Osun; Ile Oponlu; Ile Okolo; Ile Ogo go; Ile Ogunkan; Ile Baje pa de; Ile Kueke; Ile Aromokala; Ile Otun; Aare Ago Taiwo; Ile Olooro.
