Omituntun 2.0: Irepo youth Coordinator holds strategic meeting with youths
Ahead of the 2023 general elections, the Irepo Youth Coordinator under the Peoples Democratic Party for Governor Seyi Makinde’s re-election bid, Comrade Badmos Adesola on Sunday held a strategic meeting with both the ward Coordinators and ward youth representatives at the party secretariat to device means of marketing all the candidates of the party in the local government.
During the meeting, Com Badmos Adesola And the party Youth Leader welcomed everyone at the meeting and made it clear that it’s imperative to ensure victory for all the party’s candidates including the PDP Presidential Candidate, Alh Atiku Abubakar, Oyo North Senatorial Candidate, Hon Akinwale Solomon Wolekanle, and Irepo Federal constituency Candidate, Hon Hussaini Yusuf Ijabah.
They maintained that Governor Seyi Makinde will win and will not disappoint party Members and Oyo State Citizens because Nigerians are suffering and experiencing poverty as a result of bad policies, corruption and mismanagement of Nigeria resources by APC led Federal Government.
However, in his address, the state Auditor general II, Mr Lawal Muhammad, implored the Youth of Irepo local government to unite and focus by giving their votes to all PDP candidates.
On his part, the local government Party Secretary, Mr Muhammad Baki Jamiu charged Youth to go back to their Respective wards and work for the party irrespective of grievances that they may be nursing.
He also advised the party members to approach INEC office as from fixed Date to collect their PVC and keep it properly to vote all PDP candidates during 2023 general elections.
In his Closing Remarks, Youth Coordinator, Badmos Adesola, assured the Youth of party dividends of democracy with an assurance that they will not feel disappointed when all the candidates of the party takes over the leadership mantle and Governor Seyi Makinde and His Co-pilot is re-elected.
Those present at the Meeting include State Auditor II, Mr Lawal Muhammad, Local government Party Secretary, Mr Baki Muhammad Jamiu, Youth Leader, Mr Oluwale Ibrahim, all the Ward Youth Leaders, Ward Youth coordinator.
