Sowore tags Nigerian politicians ‘old dirty bastards’, tasks Nigerians on change

Omoyele Sowore, presidential candidate of African Action Congress (AAC), has again blamed the staggering rate of underdevelopment in Nigeria on the greedy tendencies of its leaders.

Sowore, who said this in a video posted on his Twitter handle on Tuesday, accused Nigerian leaders of sabotaging the country since independence.

The Sahara Reporters publisher noted that Nigeria was blessed with humongous resources which have been unexplored as a result of bad leadership.

He also described as old dirty bastards Nigerian politicians for being extremely wired to corruption.

He, therefore, challenged Nigerians to rise to action and demand accountability from their leaders.

He said: “Most countries heavily rely on tourism to bring in necessary revenues, create jobs and give themselves good image. Like I have always said, Nigeria is a virgin land but you need right kind of leaders that can make the country great.

“No these analogue-brained, old dirty bastards that have held the destiny of the country to ransom. And they are actually demanding ransom which is silence. The ransom is that there should be no innovations, no new ideas be allowed to govern the affairs of the people.” By Ambali Abdulkabeer
