Oyo First Lady, Deputy Gov’s wife mark Nigeria Independence Day in grand style

It was a moment of joy and happiness on Saturday as the First Lady of Oyo State, Mrs. Tamunominini Makinde, and the wife of Oyo State’s Deputy Governor, Chief Mrs. Ajibola Lawal, cheered up mothersless children and persons with disabilities by celebrating the 62nd Independence Day with them.

The celebration which was filled with joy, laughter, and tears when the First Lady began distributing food items was a historic occasion as Oyo SSG, Olubamiwo Adeosun, Head of Service, Alhaja Agboola, and other prominent government female functionaries attended the celebration.

MOUTHPIECE NGR understands that the purpose of the celebration was to demonstrate love to the people with disabilities and children who do not receive as much or any maternal care, giving them the impression that there are others who care about them.

It was also discovered that the goal was to persuade Nigerians to help less privileged and motherless infants so that they might be removed from the streets, have a better existence, and in turn, be of greater value to the community.

They urged the general populace to use this Independence Day celebration to inspire people across Nigeria to support the motherless children and those with disabilities.
