2023: Adamawa inaugurates Igbo-Hausa man, 7 others as spokesperson

AHEAD of 2023 electioneering process, the People’s Democratic Party, PDP Candidate for Saki-West, Saki-East, and Atisbo Federal Constituency, Dr. Salami Lukman Adisa popularly known as Adamawa has inaugurated nine men spokesperson in the seven LGAs and LCDAs comprising IFEDAPO FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY. 

Adamawa, who announced the new appointees, reaffirmed his commitment to inclusivity, regardless of gender differences or ethics, and said that his policies are people-centered, focusing on the specifics of our Constituency in order to promote fairness and offer the high-quality representation our people have been clamoring for in recent years.

He noted that the newly appointed spokespersons are the ones who have developed intellectual capacity, wisdom, agility to coordinate, mobilise and propagate our core values in the grassroots to ensure we achieve our watchword, mission and vision in our Constituency. 

List of appointees include; 

1. Olubiyi Florence  Yetunde 

(Atisbo South) 

2. Jacob Adeniran (Ifeloju LCDA) 

3. Alh Basiru Shittu Kekere 

(Asabari LCDA) 

4. Yusuf Zaiyan Muhammed (Hausa Community) 

5. Adewoyin Adedapo Adeyemi

(Saki-East LG) 

6. Lawal Sarafadeen Adebowale

(Atisbo LG) 

7. Rukayat  Liadi

(Wewe LCDA) 

8. Mr Michael Ezejiofor mekado (Igbo Community) 

9. Tiamiyu Babatunde Abu ibeji, Saki-West LG 

While responding, Mr. Michael Ezejiofor, one of the appointees who represented the Igbo Community, praised Adamawa for considering Igbo people deserving of being recognized among the spokespersons appointed for his political activities, adding that it’s an attestation to the values of one Nigeria Adamawa upholds. 

The Hausa community spokesperson, Mr. Yusuff Zaiyan Muhammed, commended Dr. Lukman Adamawa for giving him and the Hausa community a sense of belonging in his political organization and added that this is a rare quality of supporting the grassroots. 

Due to the fact that no party has before given the Hausa community a gesture of recognition like this, he vowed to ensure their full support for Adamawa and the PDP at all levels.

The Chairman Saki West LG, Engr Sarafadeen Omirinde expressed his pleasure over the selection process of the spokesperson, admonishing the appointees to see the course as service to the party and also ensure they deliver with strength and capacity come 2023.

Dignitaries in attendance include; Engr Sarafadeen Omirinde, Saki West LG Chairman; Hon Mrs Rahman Mosunmade, Saki East LG Chairperson; Engr Busari Mudathir Eruobodo, Political Head/Administrator for Asabari LCDA; Hon Fasasi Qodri Amao, Leader of Legislative Arm saki West LG; Hon Adedutan Benjamin, Leader of Legislative arms Saki East; Hon Mrs Jinaad Adenike, Deputy Leader Saki West LG; Alh Ganiyu Okearan, Saki West LG Chief of staff; Alh Wasiu Ashiru Ayesoro, Saki West PDP party Chairman; Alh Oluwakemi, Former Senatorial Chairman; Alh Jimoh Adesina, PDP Senatorial Organizing Secretary.

Others were; Alh Jimoh Oyesiji; Alhaja Hussaina Damilola, Saki-West PDP Women Leader; Members of Legislative council, Saki West, Saki East & Atisbo; Members of supervisors council and other political functionaries.
