Familiarization Tour: Atiku Support Organisation Southwest Zonal Women Leader visits Ogun

The Southwest Zonal Women Leader of the Atiku Support Organisation, Yeye Adenike Remi-Olarinde and her entourage were received with encomiums in Abeokuta on its familiarization tour to sensitize members to intensify efforts in propagating Atiku Abubakar’s bid in their various local governments.

In a report received from Hajia Peter Mary, the dignitaries at the frontier in welcoming Yeye and her entourage include; Zonal women leader (Ogun state), Hajia Peter Mary Abibat; the state coordinator’s representative, Mr Odunuga Olakunle; the Director of Contact and Mobilization; the Ogun state deputy women leader, Mrs Elizabeth Adeosun; and members of the State excos.

In his remark, Mr Olakunle, who represented the state’s coordinator, passed goodwill message to the visitors on behalf of the state coordinator, imploring the women to embrace unity as they progress.

While delivering her keynote message, Yeye Adenike appreciated the women for the massive turn up, expressing her gratitude to Dr. Jubril Lasisi, Ogun State ASO coordinator for his brilliant human management, gesture and kindness.

She further applauded Ogun State women leaders and all women present for their unwavering support towards H.E. Alhaji Atiku Abubarkar, urging them to commence door-to-door campaign in shortest possible time. She appealed to them to work honestly and diligently in a bid to secure success for Atiku Abubakar in the forthcoming general elections.

In addition, the Southwest ASO Women Leader sensitize the women on the need to work as a team with the coordinator for a smooth and progressive output, asking the women to work in peace and harmony amongst themselves.

The Ogun State PDP Chairman, Hon. Sikirulai Ogundele, in his address, applauded Yeye Adenike Remi-Olarinde for standing firmly towards HE Atiku Abubarkar’s course and strengthen the hope of the women with her visitation.

He urged Nigerians to support Alhaji Atiku Abubarkar on his genuine mission, passion for a united and progressive Nigeria. He reassured the Atiku Support Organisation (ASO) of his continuous support and commitment to the organization, adding that all reasonable Nigerians must vote for adequate security, good economy and competency in H.E Atiku Abubakar, the PDP Presidential flag bearer.

In her closing remark, Hajia Peter Mary thanked Yeye Adenike and the Zonal women entourage which include; Mrs. Yemisi Adebiyi, Osun State Women leader; Mrs. Remi Daramola Ondo State Women Leader; Mrs. Esther Tope Ajiboro, Ekiti State Women leader,); Hon. Suliat Alakufo Oyo State Deputy Women Leader; and Lagos State Deputy Women Leader for the honour and love.

She received, with thanks, cash and take-home gift from the southwest women leader on behalf of ASO Local Government Women, praying that God bless and give victory to our principal His Excellency (Dr) Atiku Abubakar success, come 2023.

The Ogun State ASO Deputy women leader, Hon Adeosun expressed gratitude to Yeye and her entourage for the visitation and speeches. she prayed for God’s guardians as they return to their various States.

Briefly towards the end of the programme, we received in our midst two members of the PDP Ogun State working committee, Prince Lukman Ajomale and Hon Tope Sorinola.
