PHOTOS: League of Imams, Hon. Alagbe, others endorse Ogbomoso North PDP candidate, Bisi Oluranti

AHEAD of the 2023 general elections, some members of league of imams in Ogbomoso North Local Government have thrown their weight behind the candidate of Peoples Democratic Party for Ogbomoso North Constituency, Hon. Bisi Oluranti.

The Imams made their position known when Bisi Oluranti and her team intimated them of her intention to run for Oyo Assembly in 2023.

Leading the endorsement of the Assembly hopeful, one of the senior Imams reiterated that their resolution to endorse her is not unconnected to her pedigree and her contributions to the development of the region in her private capacity.

In her remark, Bisi Oluranti thanked them for the warm reception accorded her and her team.

In the same vein, the PDP chieftain, Hon. Adeniran Joseph Alagbe on Saturday also endorsed the ambition of Ogbomoso North PDP candidate, Bisi Oluranti for Oyo State House of Assembly in 2023 general elections.

Mr Alagbe pledged his readiness for the actualization of BOOM project when Oluranti paid him a courtesy at his House. 

He said: “No better time to have your candidacy as you represents the interests of our people”

“I can assure you that we will garner massive votes for you in Sabo/tara”.

In her words, Bisi Oluranti appreciated the commitment and readiness of the party chieftain to support her candidacy, adding that he will never regret throwing support at her.

“I sincerely do appreciate your commitment and readiness to support us. 

In this bid to consolidate the effort of Governor Seyi Makinde, we’ll try as much as possible to ensure nobody regrets supporting our project”- She said
