Nigerian Speaker, Gbajabiamila reacts to Shettima’s choice as Tinubu’s running mate, gives reasons

Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, the Speaker of Nigeria’s House of Representatives, has reacted to the choice of Senator Kashim Shettima as the running mate of the presidential candidate of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Gbajabiamila has described it as a wise decision.

Gbajabiamila said he was delighted that Tinubu has chosen one of the best for the assignment of Nigeria’s Vice-President.

“Asiwaju is widely known as the biggest talent hunter in the country who has over the years assembled an army of performers in governance irrespective of their ethnicity or religious leaning. This unique feature also can be found in Sen. Shettima following his track record of excellence in both the private and public sectors”, the Speaker said.

Gbajabiamila said Shettima has the right behavior and intellectual ability to make things work.

The speaker revealed that having Shettima as the Vice-President under Tinubu will be a masterstroke in the management of the economic affairs of the country.

Gbajabiamila has congratulated Tinubu for making “the wise decision.”

The Speaker however called on members of the public to give support to the Tinubu/Shettima ticket and other APC candidates for elective positions in the 2023 elections.
